engine problems with 2004
this is my first diesel and i recently put a 10 inch lift on it. went 4x4ing and on the way back i started losing water. lots of people are saying its the head gaskets or something else. Ive heard that the 2004 are really bad engines, if i would of known that when i bought it 3 yrs ago i wouldnt have gotten it. Little by little ive been fixing the minor stuff but now its getting worse. Ive been warned that I will be having trouble with the engine, and now its come to the point im having to fix major problems. right now im looking for a mechanic whos well knowledgeable in diesels, thats not too expensive. the dealer wants an arm and 2 legs and im on a budget. hopefully this forum can help me out, i live in the oc/la area.
