I got mine in today and you were not lying about a split seconds releases the Nitrogen. Mine began to pull left as well so I hit it real quick twice and the pull was gone. I checked the nitrogen level and it was way too low (4.5 psi....ouch!). I go to my nearest dealer (Chevy of course) and explain what I want done. After they drooled over the truck for a bit, they brought it to the back and a few minutes later brought it back saying they could not get the Nitrogen to hold and it is now EMPTY! I called the Ford dealer in town and am headed there in the morning. I hope they have a clue. I hate not having a good 4X4 shop here in town. I called a welding shop but their output is 2600psi so I will pass! I want it at around 75-80 psi. That should be perfect.

Sgt93,
Take the truck to an aircraft repair facility, we have the fittings and calibrated regulators to set that pressure. Do it all the time. A&Ps are good folks.

Thanks for the info. I'm going to Ford shortly and if that does not work, I will head to Frasca. -Steve

Went to Sportland (cycles, ATV etc) and they refused to do it which posses me off ad I have gave them so much business (no more!). Went to the Ford dealer in town and asked then to set it at 75 psi. Done in 5 minutes and they would not charge me! Great service. She drives perfect now

Thinking about getting the same stabilizer. Lucky me I'm an a/c contractor, I carry nitrogen tanks on all my service vans. Curious, what kind of fitting is on the stabilizer when hooking it up with nitrogen?

Sgt93,

I am confused about the "Split second Nitrogen release"....is there a reservoir on the shock that needs to be filled? Sorry for the stupid question. Also do you have a part number so I can order one?
Thanks, Mike

It's a standard nitrogen shock with a release valve. Go to the 8 Lugs Trucks website or call George and he will hook you up.
