Rumble strip feeling

Hi, i'm getting a rumble strip feeling in the floor of the truck when i hit 20-30 mph, very noticable. i had truck aligned and checked out. I have the stock Conti's 18 inch. I have 28,000 miles and the 1 tire is worn more than the other 3 but not totally worn out. Shop said it was tires and just run them, but will prolly need new skins by winter. Any one ever get that rumble strip feeling, thanks.

Yes, from worn tires, just like your shop suggested.

The question is... why do you have irregular tire wear?

My truck did the same thing about two years ago... it was the driver's side front wheel bearing.

Well angler, the worn down one is from my hitting the throttle a bit hard as it was the drive tire, my own fault. But rotated them and had the same rumble strip feeling. As far as wheel bearing, all i can say is they checked front end, and don't know what other symptoms i would get from a wheel bearing other than noise.
