I have a 2003 6.0 and I just changed the ICP Saturday. Thanks for the the great write-up on this forum for helping me out! Now for the dilemma...Been driving great for last 3 days, got in to leave work and the gauge cluster is out and I am getting p0272, p0460 and p0649 on my Edge Evolution programmer. What the heck is going on? Cylinder # 4 Contribution balance faults, Fuels tank sensor level circuit faults and cruise lamp control circuit fault.
The P0272 probably means you have an injector going south--not related to the other 2 codes. Check to see if you have a gauge cluster fuse out. Sounds like a wiring issue to me though.
Got it! Fuse # 45 blown and chaffed tow/haul wire harness in steering column. Thanks to some great post on this forum for helping me figure this mess out.
Batteries all charged...lets see if teh injector codes go away(fingers crossed).

Don't hold your breath about the injector code but perhaps it will. Before you jump through hoops about getting the injector changed--try some Rev-x and 5W40 synthetic oil at the next change to see if it helps.

I realize that this is an old thread, but did the fuse really solve the P0649 code ?
