I have a 2003 Ford expedition and recently the back A/C started making noise so I replaced the actuator and now it does not give cold air only hot. Also on another note my pedal motors dont work so they are stuck up in the front. If anyone could help me on the problems here It would be greatly appreciated.
Oh and if this is in the wrong place sorry im new to the site and I just hit post a topic. My Bad
Charlie-- You probably need to replace the other actuator. One is for floor-ceiling airflow, the other is for a/c-heat control. I am in the process of doing the same thing today.
Can't help with the pedals yet.

When it was making the noise, which function of the rear AC didn't work? Which actuator did you replace? The one on the top of the wheel arch is for floor to ceiling, the one on the side is for temperature mix.
I've seen the pedal issue discussed here before so you might want to try doing a search for it.
I cant remember which one I replaced but I know that it goes from bottom to top and I believe the other one works because It goes from hot to cold, there just isn't and cold air coming out. No clicking sound also.
I had the same thing happen to my 2003 at about 40k miles. Front was cold, back was just blowing hot air. Turned out to be a clogged expansion valve in the rear A/C.
Since I know charlie2272, I actually have that Ford now. Several issues were - Blend door actuators were bad in the back....AND.....as someone mentioned a clogged expansion valve - BUT - it wasn't the expansion valve, it was the actual coil that had almost a full cup of oil in it.....Disconnected lines, blew them out, blew out expansion valve, vacuumed, charged all good....so rule of thumb, if all else fails, don't take anything for granted - blow out the lines and start fresh!!!! Oh yeah, and it's still running fine - over 150K.....regular oil chgs, flushes, tune ups.....gotta love these things......
