Coil Packs
2000 EX V10 Gas.
How do you check if a coil pack is good or not. I am doing a spark plug change today and while I have the coil packs out can someone explain the procedure to check them for resistance?

I think they are either good or they're not, I wouldn't worry about it. It's not like one cylinder is going to run worse because of a lack of voltage.

Primary resistance which is between the two connector pins should be 0.55 ohms. Secondary resistance which is between the + connector pin and the spring end which sits over the spark plug should be 5,500 ohms. Usually you will find the secondary open in a bad one.
