I have some oil seeping on the left side of the lower engine block. Have read some posts about o-rings on the dip stick tube being wrong ones. When I'm under the truck I can reach up and move the dip stick tube up and down quite easily. It doesn't seem like it should move this easy. If I lift up on it about 1/8" I can see the o-ring. Any ideas? Thanks.

 

Your dip stick tube is bent if it is not staying in the block the way it should. Take it back to Ford and have them order a new one.

 

Make sure the tube bracket is secured to the valve cover stud. Might save you a trip to the dealer, should not be your problem though.

 

I've read that sometimes the o-ring is not installed for what ever reason at the factory. Take it back to your dealer and have them fix it, it should be an easy fix.
