Cold clutch problems

I have a mazda 5speed in a 92 f150 300 I6. The clutch works fine when weather is warm but when it dips in the 20's the clutch pedal drops and only travels 2 inches from the bottom up i can still drive the truck and it will work itself back to normal after the truck has been run about 15 minutes. anyhelp would be great thank you

Cold clutch problems

I don't know where the problem might be but the same thing happened to me. Only it did not do it when it was cold. It did it when i did a cross country roadtrip. I would like to get this figured out as well.

Cold clutch problems

try flushing the system and get all new fluid in the slave cyl and the resevoir(spelling) it uses brake fluid so it is at risk of holding water might be freezing and causing your troubles
