In general, Super Swampers are designed for serious off road use or posing. Not durability. Every one I've experienced used pretty soft to extremely soft rubber compounds for traction.
I got 17k out of a set of 37" SSR's on my 2000. They're way too soft, great for off road but sloppy on the pavement.
Check out the Toyo M/T's, you'll get good mileage with those (mine had about 25-30k on them when I sold the truck, still had about another 5-10k left).
