I want to know if 250 and 350 had bigger sway bars than the 150's. I couldn't find anything in my search in this section. I wanted some bigger sways on my 88 Bronco. At least in the rear anyway. I figure my stock one in front with a 250 in rear, or a 250 front and 350 rear.
You will want to be careful messing around with the bars and changing sizes. You always want the front bar to be a lot larger than the rear.
1. Because all the weight is up front normally and
2. If you get the rear bar too stiff compared to the front, the rearend will slide around on you when it breaks loose.
Factory autos are designed to "push" into a turn. In other words if you take a curve too fast, the front will start sliding and going straight. They designed it this way because in this situation, most drivers will panic and hit the brakes, and this will quickly bring the vehicle under control. If you make the rear bar too stiff, it will make the vehicle "loose" and taking a turn too fast will make the rearend swing out instead. Recovering from that takes a little bit more fancier driving technique.
It's a truck, it's not really meant to handle. With the weight bias of a truck you definitely do not want it too stiff in the rear. To put it simply, the only time a truck has equal weight distribution is when all four tires are in the air.
I'm not too concerned with what it's meant to do. It's a Bronco not a truck, I want to make a lightning bronco so to speak. I'm going to drop it, put some wide tires under it, get it down to at least 5000lbs and have fun with it.

A Bronco IS a truck, and a rather fine one at that. Why don't you get yourself a Crown Vic or something like that and sell that 4x4 to someone that can use it?
It's an SUV and it's not ruining it. If I could sell it, I would. That way I could buy a crown vic. a friend of mine is selling one real cheap. If I can't sell it then project Bronco GT will comense. If I want a 4wd, Id get something without IFS. 4x4 purist won't change my mind.
