Hello. Ford-F250 (light duty). Just called the wreckers and they've got both a left and a right spindle. She asked if the truck was ABS and I said "no", although in retrospect I believe the truck does have an ABS. What's the difference?
Ok, well 'ABS' is 'anti-lock braking system', correct? I'm pretty sure the truck in question does have it, so I'm out of luck with the no ABS ones??
"Pretty sure".....but where on-line can I double check the truck's specs, since my truck is at my garage, far, far away? I've got the VIN number, make and model.....I should be able to find out if the truck is equipped with an ABS, right??
Also, I'm wondering if the F-150 spindles will fit the light duty F-250? The balljoints I just replaced were F-150's, so by extension should the spindles be F-150's? I know the light duty F-250's have a different rear axle set-up.
I just don't want to be stuck with having to pay for parts that don't fit.
