Maple City Cruise

Just got back from a good time, last night. Maple City Cruise in Monmouth ,Illinois. It was my first time going to this one . Lots of Cars, food and fun for all. They all get together in La Harpe Il the next day for a big show, didn't get to go there . Waiting for a phone call, bought a raffle ticket in Monmouth, for a decked out 427 motor they are giving away at the show today. If your looking for a good show this is it. I will be going to this one next year. Last year they said close to 2000 cars and trucks and 25000 people attended.

That would be a pretty good haul for me, but sounds like it would be worth the drive!
I use to go there about once every week to maintain a groundwater remediation system at the bus garage. thats been aprox 15 yrs ago.
