Couple Questions:

Just picked up a 92 F250 Extended cab long bed 4x4. I'm wanting to put a set of wheels on it , but i don't want to spend a ton of money so i've been looking on CL. Will later model super duty 8 lugs work on my truck?

Also looking into a lift in the range of 3-6" any recommendations?

No they won't work. Ford used 8x6.50 all the way untill 97. Anything after 97 are 8x170mm on the superdutys. Sorry.

As for the lift, I would go 4" or 6" IMO.
