Front Bumper Swap
does anybody know if the front bumper off a 77 f250 2wd will fit a 73 f250 4x4. the reason i ask is because i have a huge nasty bumper built from 12 inch channel iron on the front of my truck. i have a perfect chrome bumper off a 77 2wd i would like to put on it. i have heard that the frame on a 2wd is wider than a 4x4. dont know if that means the bumper will fit or not.

yes and no since it's a 73 f-250 it's a highboy right???
you will have to get the brakets for the bumper I have the bumper off of my rusty higboy I could take some pics of the brakets if that would help you. why it wont fit is the front bar under the frame and I think the frame doesnt come out as far on a 78 ford don't quote me on that last part.
