Looks like a good day to go to the scrap yard, shouldn't be much of a line today...

Bring your waders...

I'd have you look for some things for me but I don't know what I need...

Actually I do need a dash speaker bracket for a 67-72 F-series. The bump side style...

Sorry, different type of scrap yard. I have an old Toyota that I parted out and cut up. The whole thing fits in my F250, gotta love the 8 foot bed. Hopefully I get around $150 out of it, maybe a little more because I have 4 aluminum intake manifolds (for 22Rs) sitting in there.

Ahhh... Your going to a place like Harding Metals in Northwood. Metal scrap yard.

Wanna hear something funny..
I cut up a 87 Toyota 4x4 2 summers ago and brought in in for scrap. I only have the Ranger so I called a local salvage yard to come pick up the bare frame.

I also still have a pre-85 22R head (ready to bolt on and go) sitting in the garage. I found out the hard(expensive) way you can't mix pre and post 85 heads and blocks. Hence the ready to go pre-85 head I still have.

I just sold my '87 Toyota plow truck at the beginning of the summer. If I ever get a job and about $3-4grand I will be looking for a new (street legal) plow truck. Or snow blow the 100'+ driveway with a 22" Toro.

Yeah, I'm going to Scrap-it just outside of Keene.

As far as the Yota stuff, you could probably get some good money for that on Yotatech. It's a pretty good site, similar to this as far as the no BS thing.

I have a 94 Xtra cab I'm going to plow with this winter, my 86 jumped time and I found a pinhole in the block. The frame was trashed anyway. Plans for next spring include getting it onto the road, it isn't far, but I'm broke at the moment. Scrap yard runs are my only source of income until September.

I also have an 86 SR5 (buckets and gauges!) that I'm doing a frame swap/solid axle swap on. That is going to be the boonin rig, with the PSD doing all the towing.

Now if this rain ever stops, I'm getting to work...

You do know that the 94 falls under Toyota's frame recall program correct.. 92(I think) to 2000 are the years. Unless you have not owned it and registered it for 2 or 3 consecutive years or something like that.

Never heard of yotatech. I am on toyotanation but they are about useless. I got more Toyota tech help on FTE than I ever did on toyotanation. There is also NEOW.org that I am on but haven't logged in in about 2-3 years

My 94 is clean, picked it up for $750, figuring it was at least $750 closer to roadworthy than my other project truck.

Toyotanation is useless, if you can ever get it to load with all of those ads. Yotatech is nice because it's as repair oriented as t'nation, with a good share of wheelers-and not as toxic to newbies as pirate4X4.

I'm not into 4x4ing as much as when I was in high school. Not that I was ever really big into it. I now do SCCA Solo II events. driving in parking lots around traffic cones. I would like to take the Ranger on a few non-muddy trails every now and than but that's the extent of it now.

I dug out the head and found mice have taken it over and it needs a good cleaning and some of the springs and starting holders are starting to rust up. So much for getting some decent $$$ for it. I put it up on New England Offroad Website for "best offer". I just need the space.
