A/C leak

Just replaced comp, dryer, orrifice tube filled with oil and freon. Worked great for 2 days ! Turned on tonight and blowing hot air, got home and found high pressure port leaking. My question is, can the port itself be replaced or do I have to replace the whole hose ? If it can be replaced, will I need to put it back on the vacuum pump and replace oil before I can recharge system ? Sorry such a long thread, just really frustrated .

With a leak, its possible you'll need to draw a vacuum and start from scratch.

Not sure on replacing the valve. Probably not on these hoses. Though the caps usually keep them from leaking.

you'll need to pull a vacum anytime you open the system. I don't think the Vacum is strong enough to pull any oil out though from some of the reading I've done. I'm not an expert, just done a bit of reading when my compressor failed.

The oil will stick in the system.
