Dang that Haynes book...............I spent 2 hours looking for the inerta switch on my '96 F350 "on the firewall to the left of the brake pedal" HaaaaaaaaaaHaaaaaaaaaaa.. not so funny.
IF IT WASN'T FOR THIS FORUM I WOULD HAVE BLOWN UP MY TRUCK OUT OF FRUSTRATION.
As it turned out the switch was OK as was the wiring, relays and fuses.
Personal Kudos to the gentleman who suggested that you drop the spare tire and wail on the bottom of the gas tank with a hammer.
Boy, the pump works now and never sounded to good.
Thanks to all again...........I didn't even have to log on as the answers were archived.
