hypertech programer

hey guys im trying to sell my hypertech programmer 3 model #41001. its for a 2000 7.3 truck or excursion. guy that wants to buy it has a 2001 excursion. anybody know if it will work?

Hypertech's customer support is hit and miss (it appears to be mostly miss these days).
