Hi Guys.
Made it back late yesterday afternoon. Spent about 6 hours on the Escape Thur & lost about 10 lbs in the heat, but me & my Father-in-law got it done. Glad he was there to help. Doing it by myself would have been major pain. Buttoned it up on Fri morning & Terri brought her Mom's car back about noon & we came on back. There's a thread in the escape forum if anybody wants the gory details.
My F-150 did ok. It never was intended to be a "road truck", in other words "around town" should be its limits. Especially with its TC clutch code that throws it into limp mode. (I had to clear it when I got there & it hasn't set since I came back)
Now I got to clean up all the crap from the storm that came through on Friday. I swear it looks like a small hurricane came through with all the limbs, leaves, pinecones & trash that got blown all over.
