Good morning everyone, happy Thursday! Looks to be a beautiful day here in eastern Nebraska! Well, got the motor and tranny ripped out of the 89 last night, now just need to get the rest of the electrical, and the tranny crossmember, and that bad-boy will be off to the salvage yard.

Morning Rob, Pat, didn't think that cab had that much rust on it,i'm sure its in good hands tho

 

It's not too bad, just those cab corners mainly. The floor is actually solid, its just surface rust.

 

All is calm at the moment... wife flies out this evening for an Air Force conference which means 3 days of kid wrangling for me. I think they are tired enough from getting back into the school routine that they won't cause much trouble this weekend...

Got my plane ticket for Vegas.... Dec 7th - 10th... Wifey only gave me her frequent flier miles this time, so I might have to sleep in a dumpster. I'll make it work, lol.

 

Ah, her weekend vacati.....er...I mean, conference. Oh, that's right, I forgot your were headed to Vegas then.

 

This trip is in addition to her normal AF weekend... I'm beginning to think she volunteers for this extra stuff to get away from us!
