afternoon all
more fun with the log splitter.
Finally got everything back together, starts on 1st pull, ram goes up and down. Whooppeeee. SOB won't split wood.
Draind the mercron 5.... again.... (smells soooooo good) and took apart the pump. it sheared a roll pin off the shaft to the 2 stage part of the pump. none available.
Bud knows where I'm going now........ drill bit, grinder, etc. Worked great...... For about 1/2 hr, and sheared the roll pin....... again.
New pump $675
New splitter $1500.
Unless I can find a cheaper pump, this spliter's going to be yard art.
