I think you should have both....LOL! If we were going to stay in our current house, I'd rip out the patio, put in a huge deck, and a jacuzzi.

Yeah, that would be nice in the winter. I'd still like to have a pool, though.

The pool doesn't get the usage anymore they use it on occasion, but the expense compared to the usage doesn't add up.

I'm gonna check it after work today to determine what I'm gonna do.

Yeah, I can see your point Steve. I'm sure that thing is pretty expensive to maintain, especially if you have to refill it every once in a while!

We had a 15x30 oval above ground pool when I was growing up... When I was in high school, it started to develop a weak spot on the one end. My dad said he'd get around to fixing it... He never did and it burst one night, lol. Woke up to an empty pool and the remnants of a flash flood going through the back yard. Lawn furniture, rock, grass, etc scattered everywhere... it was a pretty cool site, and we had a "walk-in" pool...

My other concern is the base of the pool wall, being it's partly underground, if it's structurally sound still.

Yeah, you'd hate to refill it, and have it fail!

I think I'm gonna get the over the top edge liner instead of the stupid bead liner, what a bad idea that was!
