fuel pressure for my 460
hello, I have the 7.5l v8 box truck e350 94… it has a single tank the previous owner replaced the fuel injectors fuel filter. I’ve replaced spark plug, wires, distributor. Ignition coil. Mass air flow sensor. I check the pressure on the fuel rail getting 32- 38? At an idol.and start. It won’t go over 25-15mph going up hills back fire. Struggles to make it back to the shop. Jolts of power…You have to tap the gas to get a jolt of energy… it will idle for hours fine and sound perfect, strong. But the second I drive up a hill it loses all power struggles. Even going down a hill it would lose power over 40mph. when I press the gas. You can’t hear the exhaust leak, no power, kills the engine after a bit… every time I tow it to the shop (after it will no longer start or drive for me) it starts right up for shops. (I’ve had to tow it twice) they drive it fine and it idols in the parking lot for hours fine.. I have videos but they are a couple mins and to large to upload. Hopefully that all helps and made since. Thanks. We’re going to look more into/ replace the fuel pump today. But after that we have no idea.
