It would be here, not sure in your area. It's seems you only get them on upgrades, totals are usually front end crashes.

You can find them on ebay for about $50 but they cost approx. $70 to ship because of their size so you are back at the $120 figure anyway. In other words it is not out of line.

I'm just looking at things to lower my Egt. Every little bit helps while towing. I just saw it and it got me thinking. This one come out of someone doing a banks intercooler upgrade

I've heard more like 100 to 150 pulling heavy trailers, and yes it is a good deal.

if the 6.0 intercooler does not help that much what intercooler would? Also is the 6.0 intercooler worth about 120 bucks?

From what I've heard the 6.0 intercooler doesnt really shine until heavy towing. I will show about 100* better for normal day driving, but will really make a difference when towing.

I tow heavy almost every day...

It made less then a 50* drop at best.

Its not worth the hassle to swap out.

But I'll let the IDE's continue the discussion.

I'm with CSI on this one.
I did the swap because I had heard the 100-150* reports. After the swap, I saw 50* difference at best.

I have to agree with Joe. I didn't see amazing results. In fact I recently deleted my IC all together and put in a van "spider". Granted I rarely if ever tow heavy anymore so I don't have real world comparisons but in daily driving, I have no higher EGTs than with the 6.0 IC.
