"THEFT" light?

"THEFT" light?
After dissassembling my dash I saw that there was a icon on the left side of the instrument cluster that said THEFT. It had a bulb behind it and I even changed it with a new one. When does this light come on? 1996 EB Bronco

When does this light come on?
It should come on whenever you hit the panic button on your remote. If i remember right it should also come on whenever you lock the doors with the lock button on the door panel for about 20 seconds.
