Hi, just thought I'd share that I was having terrible vibration in my steering wheel on my '04 2wd 150 with 100,000 miles. Had tires rebalanced, not much help,..Ordered Bilsteins from Shockwarehouse (great price) and changed them myself,..I had to take the fronts to a shop to be pressed out for $50,..but job was easy, needed to replace spindle nuts for $24 and 295 lbs. torque,..but simple job,..
The difference is unbelievable,..steering wheel dead solid,..handles perfect
Would never believe they would be that shot at 100,000..I also put on new Autozone rotors and ceramic pads,..perfect stops...
I had a similar experience this week. My 05, 4.2L, 2WD had 93K miles. Just bought the truck last month.
I had Monroe Reflex put on both front and back. The truck still had OEM shocks and struts.
The difference is tremendous.

For sure,...I replaced the fronts first,..and that helped,..but I never would have believed that changing the rears would effect the steering wheel that much,,
It's good to see progress. I have no history on my truck's maintenance. So everything I do is a new and better day for the truck - and for me.
I'm very excited about tomorrow, as I'm picking up a Ford soft, roll up bed cover.
I assume you live in Ojai. I love that town. I used to live in LA and rode my mororcycle and played golf up there.
