That wold be pretty funny if you think about it...

Two trucks side by side in the shop:

One got it's straight axle replaced with IFS
The other got it's IFS replaced with a straight axle

If I were a visiting customer looking at the projec sheets, i'd be confused seeing that!

This is a great post! I am basically doing the same thing on a 1953 F-100 and have all the same problems/questions. Great looking project.
