Hi,
I just bought a pretty near mint 74 ford ranger xlt shortbed with a 390 V8 and a 3 on the tree and decided to check this site out.
after browsing a bit I thought I might as well sign-up.
I plan on posting some pics of my pick up as soon as I can.

well I just did put on a set of tires and four alluminum modular wheels off a full size 86 ford pick up. when I bought this truck the tires were old and they were mounted on the stock steel wheels with hub caps. the tires and wheels I just put on it were bought for my 73 ranger xlt but it needs restoration so I just put them on the restored 74 instead.
I need to go ahead and do some parts swaping though between the two. my new truck has a 3 spd collumn shifter and bad throw out bearings in the clutch, the old truck has a new re-built C-6 in it and I was going to swap em out. also I was going to put the power steering in the new truck off the 73 as well. the old truck has power brakes too but I am not sure if I'll swap that out too.
