Guys, after rewireing my 48.. Im not getting any spark from ends.. Could it be the coil ? also where do I ground the coil ??.. Also is the 48 neg or pos ground ??...
It could be several things, including the coil. You'll need to trace back and see where the last place you have power is.
You don't ground the coil, exactly. The stock electrical system on your truck was 6V positive ground. If that is the system you have re-installed with your rewire, on your coil, the + terminal goes to the points in the distributor, and the - terminal receives power from your ignition switch.
Ignition circuit should be straight forward. You should have a line from the ignition switch to the coil and another line from the coil to the distributor. That is it.
Check and see if the line from the ignition switch has 6V.
BTW, 48 is 6V positive ground if the truck is stock. The coil does not need to be grounded.

Check on line for the wiring diagram if you have not got yourself
a manual, but I think you will find the coil finds its ground through
the points.
