Pulled the TT to our usual campground in Fl last week and although I had the only 6.7 I would guess 90% of all tow vehicles were fords. I even gave a guy in a 7.3 a jump start...wouldnt have been a big deal except he was a seminole fan....I guess the ford brotherhood runs deep. Go Gators...
I still see more GM/Chevy's here, but they are cheaper and that's how some people roll.
Almost all tow trucks are Fords, and I've seen a ton of new 2011 tow trucks - that speaks volumes right there.
I see 5 to 10 New 2011 Superduty's a day here in the DFW area. It's crazy. I still get, "WOW that truck is huge".....BUt not like I used to...there are just to many here in Texas,...WHich in a way is ok with me,,,,It means the MOTHER SHIP is doing Well....
Even in Michigan, during a depression, I see more 6.7's each day. I try to talk with the owners...Over the weekend, I talked with 2 more 6.7 owners. No issues, very happy with their trucks.
While others will come here with tales of 50% dissatisfaction ratings and multiple crisis level scenarios, I just do not see this in the people I am talking with about the truck.
I have seen four 2011s in the Monticello area [pop. 5500], 3 diesels and 1 gasser. What I notice more of now that with any of my previous trucks is pretty much any time there is a Dodge around they must make there presence known. It's the little things they do. Let's say I'm getting fuel, and a Dodge drives by, it's almost automatic, as soon as they see [=] they have to punch it. I think we make them nervous, and it's funny as hell to watch them.
Where I live in Michigan 2011's few and far between. All the campgrounds up here are filled with Ford tow vehicles. When I go down to Florida it switches to GM, go figure.... I give a thumbs up to every 2011 I see....

LOL, very true. Central IL probably has a slight Ford edge over Dodge. Lots of Cummins and Super Duty's though. I bet I saw at least 20 new 11 SD's last week (all different). Just nuts.
Not too many here in my neck of the woods yet. I had a guy and his toddler practically drooling on mine when I came out of the store tonight. He asked so many questions I lost track. He couldn't believe it was a diesel. Last thing he said before he walked away was to ask me if I wanted to trade it for his Dodge.
