Ranger valve mod question
I'm probably going to do the ranger valve mod tomorrow morning, does it matter which heater line i tap into? and how much coolant will I expect to lose?

If you are using a Ranger valve it installs on both heater core hoses. It is a diverson valve and when closed diverts the coolant from the hose coming from the block back to the hose going to the fitting on top of the water pump. Like a loop back. Of course when open it allows the coolant to pass through the heater core. Just pay attention to the direction of flow arrows on the valve hose nipples so it is oriented properly.
You won't lose much coolant but place a couple of old towels under where you will be cutting the hoses.
