Reading on and off.........."The Forgotten Soldier" story about a German Soldier in Russia in WWII. Fantastic book, makes you feel sorry for soldiers in the hell of war, no matter what side they fight on.
TV is a vast wasteland even more this time of year.........Agree?
Can't wait until the even sound level thing goes into effect, so commercial don't blast a deaf man out of the room?
It will still happen. As a former video editor I can tell you that law was made by politicians. Not broadcasters. If a SINGLE politician had asked someone in the broadcasting industry they all would have told them the same thing. "The video is at 0db when it leaves the editor." The rest has to do with line quality, distance, and line amplification. Its a simple matter of people closer to the broadcasting station get a stronger (louder) signal. The problem is, not all things get broadcast from the same place these days.
My monitors /media displays are the same unit.
They are 32" Philips LCD units.
Source of majority of my media is Direct TV.
We were early adopters of Direct.
I can take it with me on the RV.
After Katrina I was receiving news coverage before the wind was gone.
There were no local channels broadcasting and cable was out but I was receiving The Weather Channel.
