The Nitto Trails are not bad at all for noise and have been great in all weather conditions. I loved them on my Ram and can't wait until next week when I get the 35x12.5x20 with XD Monsters on my rig (with a few other items). I have seen so many 2011's on the road now that I need mine to be different
Just got the same tires today, came home from work and they were sitting in my drive way thanks to the UPS guy. Going to have them mounted up first thing tomorrow morning, I am so excited.
thanks guys! i love this truck! and yes the truck is completely stock, suspension and all. i dont know why the fx4 package sits more level then the 4x4 package but there is definately a noticeable difference between the two! as for highway noise, they are louder then my old mickey thompsons. the noise doesnt bother me, and i love the aggressive look it gives the truck! the reason i didnt get the mickeys again is because they were a TON more expensive and i dont think they were as aggressive. but i love both, just wanted to try something different. i only had 6000 miles on the stock michelines, just wanted a different look for the truck. i am curious to see how they work for plowing snow, hopefully they are better then the mickeys, they were horrible for plowing! and like sgt93 said, there are a ton of the new super dutys on the road, everyone wants theirs to look different. and when i say a ton, i mean i see A LOT more 2011 6.7s then i do 2011 duramax. the new 6.7l sales are sky high compared to that all new un-twistable chevy box frame! haha
Just want to point out that for an aggressive tread, these tires are one of the quietest out there. I have also driven in absolute down pours of rain to the madness of Midwest winter and they are great.
