tranny swap

my truck currently has a np 4 speed behind a 400m. wanting to swap in an engine and c6 out of a 76 ltd. Will i need anything to make the swap other than pulling the tail off of the ltd c6? Plenty familier with the np trans. and 205 transfer case, just never messed with the autos. thanks.

I believe a 2wd c-6 won't work unless you disassemble it and put a 4wd tail shaft in it, and a 4wd tail housing. You can't just put a 4wd tail housing/transfer case adapter on it.
