HID selection advise

With the new aftermarket HID systems that are digital slim ballast with built in igniters, any one have idea where to get a good set? I have heard the new digital ones are a lot better.

I plan to replace the headlight assembly on a 2011 F150 Platnium to projectors and then add HID bulb system. I want a digital slim ballast system with built in igniters at about 5000K. Was looking at the Xetronic G2 digital system and thinking of getting.

I see ones listed for anywhere from $30 to $400 and want to get the best set of HIDs that I can. I don't want to pay $400 if the sets around $75 to $100 are just as good. Anyone have new advise since the other threads discussing HIDs are about a year or more old?

Well, if you go to the retrofit source online, they send whole kits and assemblies (projectors, shrouds, harnesses included). I'm going to try out their morimoto 3five system as many retrofitters had nothing but compliments about the system, though they do sell the OEM Phillips ballasts as well i do believe. They also stock a bi-xenon projector they call the FXR which is based off of the FX35 projector headlights, but built with more mounting options. They also sell the projectors off of BMW's, TSX's, and S2000's. I plan on buying some new headlights and ripping them apart to do my own custom headlights for my truck in the near future.
