I had a pal in Lawrenceville that had the Turbo T-bird and the thing would blow steam out of the exhaust. I don't know if it was due to a bad gasket or a bad head, but the car kept...truckin'! He ran it that way for over a year before trading it in.
So I have a couple more questions regarding this engine replacement. The exhaust manifold to to exhaust pipe bolts broke off and I have a feeling the same will happen with the replacement engine exhaust bolts. Any suggestions to get these studs out when they break? I don't think there's enough meat on them to use a stud extractor. Also, should I install the original wiring harness or use the one with the replacement and splice in the only different connector? The original is a '98 2.5 and the replacement is a 2.5 from an '00 I believe both are automatics.
