Perplexed with sudden acceleration.
I have a 2005 F250 4x4 Diesel, that has run like a top until last week, it suddenly sputtered, like it wanted to die, then surged ahead like it wanted to run over the Fed Ex truck in front of me. It quit doing that and ran normal , next day again it wanted to accelerate at a light, Never more than a couple hundred RPMS) it has done this every day, never lasting very long. 3 to 10 minutes. I have no warning lights on the dashboard, have changed both fuel filers. No codes come on when checked at two local part stores. Any ideas? I'd sure appreciate them.
