i have an 06 f250 larait with the auto a/c and it sometimes does strange things like not let me change anything on it for a few min. then will work fine. a few minutes ago i went out to move the truck and it wouldnt work nothing came on and the display was blank. i restarted the truck a few times but that didnt matter so i checked everthing else onthe dash and it all seemed to be working fine so i started looking for fuses or relays but cant find any that say a/c directly i pulled and checked the fuse that said blower but it killed the truck i checked the fuse for comp clutch and it was ok so i swaped the relay for the clutch with the one for the trailer lights and restarted the truck and the a/c was working so i pulled the realy while it was running and the compressor shut down but the display and blower still worked. any one know what powers the display and functions? or what would cause this

Schmuck that's not an uncommon issue sometimes a good whack on the side of the bezel revives mine other times it just decides to redraft on it's own with the next key cycle, I was told by the service manager that it would not be covered unless it was activly dead when I brought it in (ford ESP) so I'm just waiting for it to quit again and wouldn't you know it has been perfect for 6 mos. Now. He said they just change the entire dash module. Hope this helps.
