Need some advice

The advice I need is concerning the law. I want to use a NPD rear roll pan on my 77 F-150 2wd. Now the problem, there seems to be varying opinions on the legallity of such a modification. The OPP in Listowel DON'T want to get involved (but I know better)They tell me to go to the department of motor vehicals, I go there and I get the run around!! One doesn't know what a roll pan is the other one says check with your local police dept. Has anyone had a problem with this modification?? or better yet does anyone KNOW what the law is on the istallation of a roll pan?? Many thanks John

I need some pics of said roll pan and said truck before I can give some informed advice lol.

I wouldn't think there would be any problems though since like 50% of trucks have roll pans.

Ryan, the roll pan is in the new NPD catalog Pg. 214. It is steel with a licence plate box. John

Sorry Ryan, if you go to my garage there is a pic of the truck there. It's a 77 F-150 2wd with a rear step bumper (dent side). John

I've not personally heard of any horror stories with roll pans. Consider that not too long ago, GM was selling S10s with factory roll pans.

But if I leave them alone they will steal all your money instead of just most lol. Plus, that's only Fri & Sat. Right now I'm stuck at the dealership behind my parts computer sweating my nuts off that's why I am oh so lazy.
