broken leaf spring

I have a 2000 E250 van with 1 broken leaf on the rear right. Went to a wreaking yard(without the disabled van), they said that there are 6 or 7 different leaf sets for that year. Is that possible? They said a Ford part # would not help him identify it. WTF! What do think a new set would cost, he wants $100 for one that may not be correct. THNAKS for any input.

I think there are at least 3 different ones.
2775 5 leaf
3750 7 leaf
3460 9 leaf

thanks wvvan good info, matched up a spring from a 1999, code 6. seems like any spring from 1996 up will fit. I had a 4 leaf and never saw anything but a 4 leaf in the local wrecking yards.
