Just wanted to thank Line-X of Fort Lauderdale for the awesome job they did on my truck and the trucks of two of my buddies.
When they took my truck in to do it, Art called me in to take a look after he took out the plastic bed liner. It was all scratched up and some spots were showing primer and metal. I take my truck to lots of dirty, sandy and rocky places. Rocks and sand got under the bed liner and was destroying my metal bed. The truck is only 5 1/2 months old!!
Line-X is the only way to go!!
Art is the owner and was awesome. Did all three trucks on Friday morning and we couldn't be happier.
you'll find line-x is solid stuff and will last as long as your truck!
glad to here art took care of you and it is always nice to here a good job story over a WTF story!
That's great! This is just what I needed to hear! Not this comming weekend but next weekend I have an apointment to get a Line-X color matched bed liner sprayed into my 2011 F-150. I've been somewhat skeptical, its just hard to get over the hurdle of spraying something over all that pretty new paint! But I suppose it'll pay for itself in the long run.
I've heard nothing but good things about Line-X So ultimately decided it was the way to go.

The protection to your truck bed is awesome. If you've owned a pickup with a plastic drop-in liner, and see what happens to your bed under the liner - you'll see why this is the best way to go. Your bed will NEVER rust due to scratches and damage to your bed.
Line-x sent me an online quote of $542 for an 8' bed and the basic coating with no options. I told them I have a 6.5' bed, perhaps that doesn't matter.
I paid $489 for my 6 1/2' bed. Regular Line-X - no options.
I've heard of prices from 400 to 600 - depends on the dealer/area I guess.
Took about 10 minutes to spray the bed but several hours for prep work. Masking, removing bed hardware and tailgate and roughing up the surface in prep for the line-x.
I'm planning to do the same when my new F150 arrives soon. Any comments on how well the color matching looks? I'm undecided between black and color-match.
