I had a local tranny shop rebuild my trans a little while ago. At the time I couldn't wait 3-4 weeks for a BTS. My truck is making pretty good power, Unlimited Diesel guessed around the 585hp mark. In the summer I pull quite a bit and in the winter I push snow with it, so I can't have the truck down. The trans is working perfect, but I'm always worried about it. I'm a dealer for Suncoast so if it goes, I'm going all suncoast parts, because of the price I can get the stuff for. I don't know If I should just not worry about it run it, or if I should take the truck out and beat on it and see if I can break it and if it does, fill it with suncoast parts. Here is what the local guy did
Triple disk billet cover Tq converter, with heavy duty sprag.
Overdrive Power pack.

Steel Over Drive planetary
2 big snap rings over drive
Transgo Tugger shift kit
Hardened input shell
New solenoid pack
Overdrive Roller clutch
Boost valve
Billet input shaft
6 pinion front planetary
6 pinion rear planetary
2 extra clutchs in 2nd gear
1 extra clutch in 3rd gear
Then he said the clutchs are Red Eagle and the steels were Kolene.
That's a lot of power, where's the billet flex plate, everything else looks great, did suncoast do your trans?
Stock flex plate, I'm thinking thinking of getting a new one and having it cryo and putting that in. No suncoast didn't do this one, but if this one breaks they will do the next one
