Transmision options
I have a mildly built 351w in a 54 f100. I would like a manual tranny with od, thats about all I've decided so far. This truck will not be used to tow or haul very much if at all. I've been looking at the world class T5's but they seem to be hard to come by in my area. What would you guys recommend for a fun to drive tranny?

ZF and Mazda transmissions aren't going to be much fun, but the Mazda ratios would at least be close to what you might want on the road. No drag racing or sled pullling with that baby.
Of course, the T5 isn't going to take much behind a 351 either.

Thanks for the reply, but the new transmisions are gonna be out of my budjet. I dont plan on drag racing or beating on it too bad, just like to be able to show off and play around occasionaly.
