94 to 97 F series had a small turbo? .88 / 1.0 ?
99 to 03 F series had a big turbo i know 1.0 / 1.15 ?
94 to 97 E series had a bigger than F series turbo back then?
99 to 03 E series has the biggest turbo 1.0 / 1.15 something?
I personally have an 01 Van. No intercooler or wastegate, I know that much with the supposedly better turbo or more desired or something like that.
They were all Garretts?
You can upgrade to a Garrett GTP-38R I know that much. Has bearings instead of sleeves and a side thrust washer.
I know you aren't limited to only a Garrett GTP-38R. So what else can you install on your 7.3? Or what have you heard that someone has installed. Direct bolt on or fab your own brackets and exhaust pipes.
Are those big HP/Torque guys only using GTP-38R's?
Anyone really know what the HP diff is between a van (no intercooler) and an F series really is? My Valve cover says 225HP. If an F series is only 250HP thats not that much of a difference. Will it take off faster with an intercooler, or maybe the air will always be cooler?
