Custom bumper/push bar

Hey guys, tried posting this in the appearance forum before but didnt have an luck. Was looking for pictures of our generation truks with brush guards/push bumpers, so I can get some ideas as to what I would like to make, or buy for mine. I do like how the stock bumper fits against the truck, gives a good approach angle as well, but I definitely need some grill protection, any pics would be appreciated!

That looks sharp! Got a few Ideas goin through my head now. I do like the basis of that design of that one, maybe stretch it completely across, and make it go to the top of the grille, with a bar in the middle as well, would protect it pretty good.

Mine is similar to the first pic, but has places to put lights on it.

I picked this up at a JY a couple years ago... It was built for a truck with a body lift and the little hoop is actually meant to be a step. Nothing I own has a body lift, so I use it upside down.

I used it to tow bar junk before I got my trailer...

I still want to weld in some D-ring tabs and angle the ends up, but it's great start for what I have in it.

That step is real cute upside down. Looks like the worlds most pathetic grill guard. If it was a little higher it would look like you were only concerned about protecting the "FORD" emblem! A serious bumper nonetheless.

Again, seeing this kind of bumper makes them grow on me even more! Nice truck!

I'll have to build mine when I get back from my road trip and finish making my new bed!
