cat converter replace
I need to replace the cat converter on my 97 4.0. It has a single exhaust with the two converters. Primary & Secondary I guess. I took it to the shop to see what they would charge. They wanted to just replace it with one universal converter. I asked about that & he said he does it all the time with no problems. Throwing codes etc.. I told him I prefer the original fit with the two converters. What is your opinion on this? Is it Ok to put one universal converter on or best to go with the oem type with the two converters?
