oil change?

Ok i was wondering how many miles you 6.0 guys like to go between oil changes? My dad has an 06 and its just used for towing a modest boat and once in awhile a 2 horse trailer. We were talking about the 7500 mile thing the other day. Now i have a 7.3 so i have allways gone with 5000. Maybe we are old school but 7500 seem like a long time? Thanks

7500 is pushing it to far for me. 5000 is perfect if you ask me. thats what i do atleast. some even do it at 3 on here but i take mine to 5 and dont hardly ever go much past it.

My last oil analysis said I could go 9000 but I won't go over 7000 personally. That was using rotella t6.

The 6.0 shears oil and 5,000 miles has been the consensus for most on this forum.
