1953 Ford Truck 1/2 ton,old lol - Saskatchewan Collector Cars For Sale - Kijiji Saskatchewan Canada.

 

Very interesting.......Too bad there`s no picture and it`s a long ways away, maybe Shaune/laynrubber could check it out.

 

There was also a really decent unibody merc on kijiji as well... not sure how interested everyone would be in it tho, so I didn't post it...

Also! A full flathead. No ring gear though. Wasn't sure about posting that one either.

I know of a 53 out a ways west of my place near Borden that is in OK shape complete and is 1200 bucks if anyone is looking. I think the guy still has it anyways.

Still one year to new for me!

Well if your seriously interested I could arrange a time for you to go and see it.

He would tell you the same thing I would that its in OK condition. He would tell you to make sure and bring a trailer and 1200 cash as well!

HEY all you.....step away from MY truck !!!!
Went and looked at it tonight. Been there a long time and I believe this is where all the mosquitos in the north come from ....... HOLY CRAP.
It was getting dark but what i saw will make me go back in better light. Some rust in the very bottom cab corner. Alum slotted rims on it, small block Ford with auto, ugly aftermarket mirrors. No paint, red primer. I think it was last on the road in the 80s. I know the guy that has the truck.
Maybe i can join the Ford truck club again.

 

Anything on this 53 I should look for, prone areas......floor, cab supports, cab corners, maybe if it has a Boss 429
