I just bought a 1973 Tbird, good body, engine runs, changes gear etc, interior sucks. Anyone know where to get restoration bits for such a machine?
Theo
Whilst browsing for bits, I came across an engine remanufacturer that will provide a 520 hp 450 ft/lb big block for the car for only $6500. The assure me that this is for a drop in turnkey motor, with nothing else to buy. If that is the case, I may well get hold of one. Then put a faster rear in, with an overdrive, and would have me a cool car.
Or, should I just get a standard 350 hp for $1600.. Questions questions. I reall enjoy fixing up old cars.
If thats the big Tbird, then with that much power, it would be a blast to drive, and even more so if it were the smaller platform.
I've got a 79 Lincoln thats a blast to drive, its got a bone stock 400, and it won't stop spinning until i let off the gas, its layed down more than one 60ft plus black mark.
