Dash swap

Here is my situation. I have a 72 F100 cab that I love, and am considering swapping it onto my Bronco frame when I put the 300 in the Bronco. Does anybody know if it is possible to swap the dash from a 6th generation truck into a 5th generation truck?

The 6th gen is bolted in. The 5th gen is spot welded in and most likely you will need to remove the windshield to do it. I was thinking the same thing about my truck a while back.
